Fictio supports both SFW and NSFW content for adults (18+). This page explains what's allowed, what's prohibited, and our classification system.
Last updated: December 21, 2025
Fictio is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. This applies to all content, including SFW content. By using fictio, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
The following content is never allowed on fictio, regardless of context or framing. Violations will result in immediate account termination.
Any content that depicts, describes, or implies minors (people, characters, or fictional entities) in sexual, romantic, or otherwise NSFW contexts is strictly prohibited.
Note: This is based on depiction by reasonable standards โ would a reasonable person say this depicts an underage individual? Bio/lore explanations claiming "they're actually 1000 years old" do not exempt content that visually or contextually depicts minors.
Any content depicting real-world animals in sexual or NSFW contexts is strictly prohibited.
Content that depicts explicitly non-consensual encounters โ where there is no consent framework, even a fictional one โ is not allowed.
Clarification: CNC (Consensual Non-Consent) fantasy experiences where both parties have established consent within the fiction are allowed under the "Extreme / Edge" classification. See below for details.
We use a tiered classification system so users can control exactly what they want to see. Creators must accurately classify their content when marking it as NSFW.
Content containing violence, gore, or harm to characters (to others or self). This is a separate toggle from sexual content.
Romantic and sensual content without intense or extreme elements.
โ No power dynamics or pain elements
Content with power dynamics, impact play, or consensual intensity.
โ Must have consensual framing within the fiction
Taboo scenarios and edge content. Users must specifically enable each category.
โ ๏ธ Hidden by default. Users must explicitly opt into each extreme category in settings.
Classifications are based on how content is depicted, not backstory explanations.
Example: If a character is depicted as having the appearance of a minor, claiming "they're actually a 500-year-old vampire" in their bio does not exempt the content from our underage prohibition. We (and the law) evaluate based on reasonable perception โ what would someone looking at this content reasonably conclude?
If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it using the report button on characters or through support.
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
